Alexandra
Alexandra originates from Greek. The name is the feminine form of Alexander and can be translated to mean "man's defender." Near the end of the nineteenth century, the name had regal ties, as it was the name of Queen Alexandra. Although the name is still hugely popular in the United States, it has slightly declined in use in recent years.
