Sean
Sean has origins in Irish, French, and Hebrew and is a variant of the Irish name John and the French name Jean. In Hebrew, Sean can be translated to "God is gracious." It was not until the twentieth century that the name was used outside of Ireland. While the name remains steady in popularity within the United States, it is quickly being replaced by other popular Irish names like Aidan and Conor.
