5 Mom Trends That Need to Stop

I’ve seen many of my friends share this article on social media the past few days. I’ll admit, it brings up several points that I completely agree with. As moms, we should support one another and try not to be so judgmental. We all have our reasons for the way we decide to raise our children. Which “mom trends” do you agree or disagree with in this article?

  1. All of them. Who need friends if you have to worry they’re judging you all the time? But the bigger problem is judging moms who aren’t your friends. When I feel a nasty voice in my head coming on, I remind myself that the only time judgment is acceptable is when abuse or neglect are involved.

  3. Fantastic article! I think I did a lot more judging before I had my son. Now that I know what it’s really like, I think we all just need to support each other. We all do the best we can, and we should support each other as mothers and as women.

  4. I knew the breast feeding comment was going to be one of the topics when I started reading this! When I first had my daughter, I tried everything, took the herbal vitamins, ate the lactation cookies, tried so hard to continue to breast feed. I was in tears trying when my husband finally said, why don’t you just try the formula. I finally realized, everyone talks about how breast feeding is the best option SO much I felt as if I was a bad mom for giving her formula. It took me a while to move on. And yes, some of my friends are like a milk factory! HA!
As far as this list goes, I agree with all of these!
