Love this article! I can relate to some of these things and some I am proud to say that I have witnessed from other parents and promise not to do with my own children!
The first one I am totally guilty of. My girls tell me which color cups and bowls they want to use and I usually give them the one they want because it is not worth the melt down, however if I have already poured a bowl of cereal or glass of milk into a different cup I will let my two year old throw her fit and then give her the cup or bowl.
I have seen number 4 a lot. Sure technology is awesome and I am guilty of bringing the tablet with me to appointments or on flights to keep my girls occupied but I refuse to bring them to restaurants, to run errands or to play with in the car. I think my husband and I have done a pretty good job of teaching our girls how to behave in public and if they don’t, especially my oldest because she knows better, than she usually gets a time out when she gets home.
Love these points and continue to work at correcting some of these behaviors myself on a daily basis.
