Almost 300 Nigerian girls were recently abducted from their boarding school by armed extremists and are reported to be eventually sold as slaves for their hands in marriage. Little is being done by the Nigerian government to rescue these girls.
As a mother, I cannot fathom the pain the mothers of these young girls are feeling. As a woman, it’s painful to think that our young women around the world don’t have access to a safe place for education. It’s unsettling to think that we live in a world where something like this can happen… let alone, go unresolved.

This story gives me chills. It makes me sick to think that things like this are still happening in today’s world. Prayers that these girls are found and returned home safely.
My heart is deeply troubled by this. I am in deep prayer over this. It makes me realize that we truly do live in a blessed cointry!!
