Favorite immune boosting tips?

Just curious what other parents do naturally to try to boost immune systems this time of year? We use elderberry syrup in our smoothies, and just started juice plus.

  1. I use elderberry syrup, too, and also take plain ole’ Vitamin C daily as soon as I either feel a bit under the weather or am exposed to someone ill.

  2. There has been a terrible stomach virus going around so we recently started drinking Kefir. I tend to have a very sensitive stomach and I can honestly say that it has helped settle that uneasy feeling. I’m going to try the elderberry syrup.

    1. We are dairy free so we can’t use Kefir, but I’ve heard great things. And yes we had the stomach flu for FIVE days. It’s brutal!
