For moms of little ones who need a little encouragement

I know how hard it can be to be in the thick of things with babies and toddlers. At one point I had three under the age of four and it was often overwhelming. Now that my kids are a bit older (7, 5, and 3) I wrote this to encourage moms who might need a boost. http://ohhonestly.net/2015/09/14/to-the-weary-mom-of-littles/

  1. Lauren, this is such an awesome post! It CAN be overwhelming – especially when you never get a few minutes to yourself – yet you feel lonely… such a paradox.

  2. I love this! It’s so true on so many levels. I find myself saying “This is only temporary….” many, many times a day 🙂

  3. What about Dads? Is this a discriminating post?

    1. Nope, it’s just from a mom’s point of view 🙂

  4. I agree! It just gets better and better with time. Letting go of our babies is tough but getting to experience the maturity of a “big kid” is amazing.

  5. Great post, Lauren! It’s so true, if we do it right, our little ones become more and more independent each day. For those moms going through the difficulties of multi-tasking their worlds around day in and day out- it does get better and easier. But in the meantime, try to take it easier- meaning, be more attuned to the moment, to your child, to the chore. So often we feel as you said – that it can all become a blur because we can be in so many places at once mentally that we don’t focus on what’s in front of us. It’s nice to read posts like yours for the moms who’ve made it to the other side 🙂 Thanks for sharing
