Keep Smiling for Abbie
One of my coworkers has a best friend that lives in Boston. Her daughter passed away a few months ago after going into anaphylaxis shock. The Epipen wasn’t enough to save her life. Please take the time to read this article and feel free to pass it on.

That is heart breaking!
What a sad story. It is scary to know despite carrying epinephrine and having food allergy action plans that warning signs can be missed or misinterpreted with catastrophic results (or that our medications might just not be good enough). If you are caring for a kid with a food allergy, it is so important to know that a few minutes delay can be deadly. Use that epipen, then call 911 ASAP. Never take serious food allergies lightly!
