  1. I love your blog! Ever since school has started I have felt like a mess. I just can seem to get into a good routine and feel like I am ALWAYS in the car driving kids around. Not to mention that I am looking for a job so I have been a bit stressed. I have your #1 suggestion down! I schedule EVERYTHING and have been doing this since my second child arrived. I have a calendar and write everything down and with my husbands hectic work schedule I really don’t have a choice but to plan ahead. I think I need to focus more on less computer time and probably less television time. This is difficult for me as TV is my comfort when the girls go to bed but lately I have had a difficult time falling asleep and I think watching too much TV is probably the cause of it. Thanks for sharing! These tips give me a lot to think about!

    1. Thank you Melissa! I am with you…school is torture! I mean 6 am wake ups and car line every day? No thank you! Who knew school would mean so much work for us? As for TV, I say don’t give it up…but don’t let it be a vortex time sucker either! Good luck getting into the swing of things!

  2. This is great advice- it’s hard to disconnect sometimes and take a moment for ourselves. I love the quote, “This too shall pass.” We have to keep reminding ourselves of that sometimes.

  3. Every time I’ve called my mom in a tizzy about some stage my kids are in, that’s what she always says and sure enough, before I know it, they’re sleeping through the night, giving up their pacifiers, etc etc. It’s a great quote to keep things in perspective!
