QOD: Is it true duct tape can treat warts?

It is true. For some warts, those that are small, non-tender and located on the arms, legs hands or feet, the duct tape method can be effective.

In this method, the wart is softened with clean soapy water. A new nail file is then used to gently scrape the top of the wart without causing pain. The wart is then dried and a small square of duct tape applied for a week. After a week, the duct tape is gently removed by using baby oil and the whole process is repeated. It may take several weeks to get complete results. If the skin is painful or red, see your physician.
