There is no science behind recommending any position over another—find what you enjoy, and go with that!
Some women swear by certain sexual positions to get pregnant. The idea seems to be that having sex in a certain way will make it easier for the sperm to get through the cervix. However, there is no data to recommend any position as being more “fertile” than any other. In fact, sperm have been shown to be in the cervical canal just seconds after ejaculation no matter the position!
And that myth about lying flat after sex or putting pillows under your bottom to help the sperm meet your egg? Also false. So have sex how you like, and get up whenever you want!
