QOD: How often should I offer veggies to my toddler?

Young toddlers (1-3 years old) need 2-3 servings of vegetables each day.

A serving size is 1/2  of a small, fresh vegetable, 1/3 cup of canned or frozen vegetables, or a 1/4-1/3 cup of vegetable juice.

Older toddlers and preschoolers (aged 4-5 years old) also need 2-3 servings each day, but the portion size is slightly larger: 1/2 to one small vegetable, 1/2 cup of canned, cooked, or frozen vegetables, or 1/2 cup vegetable juice.

Offer veggies to your child with every meal and snack to increase the odds of meeting the daily requirement.
