Many foods contain zinc. Zinc is a trace element and plays an important role in cell growth, which is a trademark of childhood.
Your child can get enough zinc in his diet by eating a wide variety of food. The following are the highest food sources of zinc: oysters, red meat like beef and lamb, poultry like chicken or turkey, crabmeat, lobster, fortified ready-to-eat breakfast cereals, a variety of beans, different nuts, whole grains and foods made with whole grains, and dairy products.
