5 fertility treatments to try if you can’t get pregnant

Donor egg IVF

Donor egg IVF is similar to the regular in-vitro fertilization procedure but uses a fertilized donor egg instead of their own.

This in-vitro fertilization is for women who can’t conceive naturally. The procedure uses a donor egg and is similar to the regular IVF treatment with the egg being fertilized and returning to the infertile woman’s uterus. This treatment has an 80 percent success rate per cycle.

  1. I was only able to get pregnant once with the assistance of a specialist. When I asked about getting pregnant again he told me it was a miracle it worked the first tine. He said I had no more eggs and if I wanted to be pregnant again I would need to get an egg and have it implanted after it was viable. I am now 66 and was wondering if there was any possibility fir me to have another child.

    1. Hi Nancy, I’m sure your infertility doctor has discussed the risks and probabilities of a pregnancy at your age. I never say never but it would be an incredibly risky choice to try and get pregnant at this point!
