Eggs are the most common food that cause allergic reactions in children. It’s the egg white that produces the allergy and symptoms usually kick in within minutes of eating one. A plethora of foods contain egg and can also cause a reaction so it’s best to read every label thoroughly. Even some vaccines contain egg so consult with your doctor if your think your child may be allergic to egg.
