Elizabeth K. Olivera, MD, is a Board Certified Pediatrician with nearly 30 years of experience caring for sick and healthy children in the Baltimore area. Originally from Minnesota, she received her BA from Macalaster College in St. Paul and attended the University of Minnesota for medical school. She moved to Washington DC to complete her pediatric training at the Children’s National Medical Center.
Her years of work have been split between pediatric emergency medicine, inpatient care of sick children, and office-based practice. After years of training medical students and residents, she is now turning to social media to share her pearls of wisdom with parents. Her goal is to reinforce the information parents receive from their pediatricians and provide additional information and skills they can use to keep their children safe and healthy.
Dr. Olivera currently works in several locations throughout the United States as a Locums provider. When she isn’t on assignment she enjoys curling (as in the sport), travel, and outdoor activities with her husband. She has successfully navigated the perils of parenthood and has two young adult daughters that make her happy and proud.
