Jon VanZile is the Content Director for Bundoo, where he works with Bundoo doctors, healthcare experts, and writers to create a comprehensive pediatric resource for Bundoo members. He also helps design and direct marketing communications, develop business strategy, and deliver content-related programs for Bundoo partners.
Jon graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in journalism and had a brief stint working as a political reporter for daily newspapers before moving into writing and editing for magazines and websites. He spent more than a decade working as a contract editor for national health publishers, helping to produce both reference and consumer books on everything from heart surgery to nutrition.
Jon has written or edited for national media companies including the New York Times Company, Tribune Media, iVillage, Meredith Corporation, Health Communications Inc., and many others. He is the author of Houseplants for a Healthy Home (Simon & Schuster, 2018) When he’s not writing, Jon is an avid cook who grows orchids and spends as much time on the water as possible. He and wife Erika have two sons, Max and Jake.
