Manuel Pedroso, MD, FAAP

Pediatrician

Dr. Pedroso received his MD from the Universidad de San Carlos in Guatemala City and right away started his internship and postgraduate training in Pediatrics at Schneider Children’s Hospital at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center. After completing his residency, he worked in a busy pediatric office and, in the year 2000 founded Pedroso Pediatrics, which expanded in 2006 with a second office.

Dr. Pedroso also serves as an assistant clinical professor at several universities including but not limited to Nova, Ross, and Barry Universities, and he is affiliated with Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, Mount Sinai Medical Center, and Miami Children’s Hospital.

His areas of interest are pulmonary and allergic disorders, nutritional, growth difficulties as well as learning and attention problems.

He is married and has three children that keep him busy and active. He loves soccer, volleyball and baseball; and he enjoys exploring the outdoors with his whole family.

He has learned that parents are to be listened to, and children ought to be respected at all times, and they will give back the fruit of that respect and education every day.
