Dr. Margaret Petry is a licensed psychologist who has worked with the Early Steps program in South Florida for the past 13 years. She has served on the medical staff at St. Mary’s Medical Center and had a private practice in Boca Raton. She is a graduate of the University of Florida in Gainesville, where she earned her bachelor of science, masters of science and doctorate of philosophy in clinical and health psychology. While in graduate school, Margaret was awarded the Robert A. Levitt Award for Excellence in Clinical Neuropsychology Research. She completed her predoctoral and postdoctoral training at the University of Miami. Presently, Margaret works part-time for the Treasure Coast Early Steps Program, conducting general developmental evaluations in West Palm Beach and Boca Raton as well as follow-up testing of children suspected of having a possible Pervasive Developmental Disorder.
